iWillToo New member Joined: 20 May 2008 Posts: 2 Status: Offline	Posted: Tue May 20, 2008 18:23 I am new to Web design and have created this little site by adapting an existing Blogger template http://tepidair.blogspot.com/ I would appreciate feedback on; 1. the general first impression 2. ease of navigation 3. use of space, particularly in the sidebar. I know this is against all the rules, but this site looks best in Safari with standard fonts set to 14. and the text-shadow here will be available only in Safari. Please be as critical as you feel necessary, because I need some straight talking here to set me straight!

I think you need to dramatically increase your line height just about everywhere (at least double what it is now), and the navigation on the left needs something to separate items - right now it all runs together. _________________ something spammy

I think perhaps elements need a little more room to breath. I think you've got letter spacing in the main content, not sure why. Make's it a little harder to read through for me. I like the illustration.

The light blue links in the main content are a little bit hard to read for me, maybe you can make them a bit darker. good job.

I have also used bold text for links, but still use the same mid-blue. I hope these two changes help to make reading easier. To illustrate how the page is 'supposed' to look (this is how it looks on my computer) I have posted a link to a screen grab; http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p116/readred_2007/tepidairscreengrab.gif I will appreciate feedback on these changes.
