Hi guys, long time Stylegala reader, first time forum poster.
Anyway, I've been working on a little project called Mixtaping, and I've been having my fair share of browser-specific issues (firefox seems to be the only one that's close to working), and before I launch the beta, there are a few issues I'd like to get cleared up. IE had a problem with the ajax. FF had a problem with the database. Both of these problems have, for the most part, been resolved. The one glaring problem that remains is the alignment error in Safari: You'll notice that on pretty much every page, the main logo is off by a pixel, when viewed in Safari. Even on the left-side of the top-header, the pixels don't exactly match up. For the life of me (not being a Safari or a Mac user), I can't figure out how to fix this problem without ruining it for all the other browsers, and I definitely do not want to use some kind of sneaky browser-sniffing code. Any help or suggestions please? It'll be greatly appreciated, and you'll go on my christmas-card list if you do :) |

I've been looking at it in Safari 2.0.2 under OS X 10.4.3 and I can't figure out what is happening. It doesn't make sense. I did notice allot of div's going on http://mixtaping.com/mixtapes.php under the mix tapings. You could probably have made all of that 2 columns and styled the headings, paragraphs and comments and reduced the div.
It's almost like a border is showing on the left side of the head graphics. Wish I could help more, I am usually better at troubleshooting my own work since I know exactly what I did. I know this will drive you nuts, some might not notice it but I am sure it's the first thing you see since you know it's there! LOL |

Ah, thanks for trying anyway man, I appreciate it!
About the mixtapes.php page with many divs: It's set up as such so that I can implement moo.fx's AJAX with more ease (see http://mixtaping.com/contribute.php; try clicking on the +'s to see what I mean) Is there anybody else out there who can help out with the Safari Alignment problem? It's really driving me nuts. |

bumping, and now there's a new and frustrating problem:
on http://mixtaping.com/contribute.php in IE, when one clicks the + to activate the AJAX, the input boxes don't align properly. Any idea what gives? |
